GIST: Growing Industry through a Sustainability Transition

Project description

Are you active in the process and manufacturing industry and are you about to launch an innovative product? Then let GIST support you financially to map out the feasibility of your project. You can submit your feasibility study for the last time from January 15, 2020 to March 15, 2020.

GIST: Growing Industry through a Sustainability Transition

A lack of knowledge, high start-up costs and uncertain results mean that innovative cleantech solutions fail to materialize and a large potential remains unused. GIST wants to change this by supporting and co-financing feasibility studies.

Which projects are eligible?

The fifth and final call for projects runs from January 15 to March 15, 2020. GIST is looking for project proposals that, based on innovative technology, contribute to a "low-carbon" economy. Specifically, it concerns technologies or processes that significantly reduce energy or raw material consumption with a high upscaling potential. This is allowed at both industrial and consumer level.

The variant in which you can submit a project proposal is this:

FEED light (Front-End Engineering Design light): to solve specific technical questions. The focus here is on the collaboration between asset owners and knowledge institutions. The term is a maximum of 6 months.

Only companies that are located in Flanders or in one of the following Dutch provinces of South Holland, North Brabant, Limburg and Zeeland are eligible.

How much subsidy can you get?

The GIST subsidy consists of a contribution of 50% of the costs of the feasibility study, and can amount to a subsidy amount of 40,000 euros for "light" feasibility studies.
